Due to the recent developments to the coronavirus involving Italy and according to what stated by the Italian Prime Minister and the World Health organisation also declared a worldwide pandemic for COVID-19.
CAM SpA, after taken all the possible preventions and protection in the past weeks without stopping any activities, management has decided for a temporary company shutdown from Monday 23rd of march to the 3rd of April, only for the production department.
The office activities will continue to support our costumer with the smart working.
Status of deliveries of our products will be constantly monitored to limit any possible delay occurred by this pandemic situation.
The situation clearly constitutes a ?Force Majeure? event under clause 1256 of the Italian Civil Code and clause 79 of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the international Sale of Goods (Vienna Convention).
Nevertheless, please be assured that we are making every possible effort, in accordance with the government decisions and within the framework of health measures taken for our employees, to resume normal business situation as soon as possible.
We will continue to follow up closely the situation and we will inform you in case of any additional or different news from the Italian Prime Minister.
